The successful acquisition of reading and writing in early child skills. Oral language is an interactive and social process, and music is a natural way for children to experience language in an enjoyable way.
Toddlers and Pre-Schoolers will begin to experiment with grammatical rules and various rhyming patterns each word through songs and other written text. They will create their own story book or song book at the end of each 6 weeks. We will use percussive instruments, specific songs, and PowerPoint from time to time. Establishing a sense of rhythm can be used to increase a student's awareness of rhyming patterns and alliteration in various areas of reading and writing.
